you don’t even know the love affair i had with whatever and ever amen in 9th grade. i had just taught myself piano and had gotten cheated on, i was bound to fall for ben. i simply did not care this album was already 7 years old. whatevs. let me enjoy my rockiano.

in 7 days i shall see him again only this time he’ll be playing along side robert sledge and darren jessee.

you see, i love ben folds. the guy continually rocked my shit through high school since got hooked ben folds five in 9th great. since then, i’m a sucker for piano rock.

have you guys heard man man? i know she has. i’m sorry it’s taken me so long but god damn this man is way more interesting ben. we’ve grown stagnant- admit it. last time i went to your show, i dunno. it felt forced. it was by far the worst time i’ve seen you, and that’s including that one time in front of that awful crowd in louisiana. i really wanted to like ‘way to normal’ but i didnt. we’ve grown apart. and that’s totally fine. i’ll always love your music and laugh at almost everything you say. i just didn’t want you freaking out when you saw me posting all these pictures of my new perfect human man.

i’m usually not one to throw the word “favorite” around a lot. matter of fact, it kind of pisses me off when people ask “what’s your favorite movie/book/band/tv show?” but if someone were to ever ask me what my favorite ben folds song was, i would without hesitating, tell them it was this one.

the song was originally on Ben Folds Five’s compilation album Naked Baby Photos but this version is from Ben’s solo album Ben Folds Live

This album was made available for a limited time with a bonus DVD. It had 8 tracks, including a video of the audience shooting the front cover (during which they all gave him the finger and yelled “Ben Folds sucks!”). This was also notable for the first appearance of the altered, minor-key version of the Ben Folds Five favorite “Song for the Dumped” on an official release. This version also includes Darren Jessee’s “missing lyrics” (“You fucking whore” repeated a few times).

The best concert I have ever been to. I have only been to three, but seriously, I am sure nothing can top this.

Ben Folds wins at live music forever. I’ve seen him twice and both would probably make it into my top 5 concerts.

Did you guys see the video of him singing to people on Chat Roulette at one of his concerts? Probably the greatest thing ever. I love Ben Folds.

i’ve seen him a total of 5 times.. so yeah he’s one of my all time favorites haha. hilarious, great showman but i dont think anything will top him playing hava nagila as far as sheer ridiculousness goes.
